Online learning ideas

A number of well known people are setting themselves up with links to their own web pages that will allow us to spend time with them and learn new things.

Like Mo Willems has done in setting up drawing lessons inspired by his Don't Let the Pigeon character series (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmzjCPQv3y8 ), David Walliams (https://www.worldofdavidwalliams.com/elevenses/ ) and others are reading their own books, taking writing sessions, maths sessions and even daily sports challenges.

As more comes available, I will add more links. I am also really interested in using some of the activities from Taskmaster NZ kids.  I will also use our Google Classroom page more to set specific work and schedules, and we can dabble with Google Hangouts and Zoom for some face to face time.

I really hope the novelty of being at home hasn't worn off, and that you're all rested after our early holiday break (and hopefully not home sick with that fierce head cold some of you were sharing before school finished - my hand's up for having now had it too).

To begin us off, here is a home scavenger hunt, a home game you can play and a drawing challenge. The scavenger hunt asks for an American Coin - can I suggest a NZ coin instead? - Don't forget to share in the comments below.
